Job Title: Service Sales Manager - Thermal & Generators

At Vertiv, we are seeking a highly skilled Service Sales Manager to join our team in Southampton, UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing the Thermal & Generator Remedial teams and providing strategic direction to deliver the company's sales strategy successfully in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve set targets and drive business growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Collaborate with other department leads to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their sales skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure standardized and consistent quote and project documentation is used to maintain efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience in the thermal and generator market.
  • Strong understanding of business critical applications and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Decisive nature and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and proven track record of managing others.
  • Computer literate and self-disciplined with a motivated attitude.

Travel Requirements:

50% travel required.
