About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Medirest, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hospital facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain hospital wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, and public areas to the highest standards.
  • Ensure all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors by following hospital policies and procedures.
  • Use equipment in accordance with the role, following all Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff to provide excellent customer service.
  • Work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Be aware of patients who may be unwell or showing signs of distress and provide support as needed.
