Hospital Cleaning Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant in High Wycombe. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities- High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected, and public areas, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Ensuring rubbish bins are maintained and removed when full, contributing to a tidy and organized hospital environment.
- Maintaining high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors, following required policies and procedures.
- Using equipment in accordance with the role, following all Health & Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicating effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff, demonstrating a passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Working under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
- Confidently working in a hospital environment, aware of the potential for contact with patients who may be unwell or showing signs of distress.
