Domestic Cleaning Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Cleaning Assistant. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected, and public areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensuring rubbish bins are maintained and removed when full to prevent any potential health risks.
  • Maintaining high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors by following required policies and procedures.
  • Using equipment in accordance with the role, following all Health & Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about patient care and able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
  • Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Confident working in a hospital environment and aware of the potential for coming into contact with patients who are unwell or showing signs of distress.
  • A willingness to learn and take pride in your work, with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
  • Subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service check, with costs met by the employer.
