Domestic Cleaning Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Cleaning Assistant. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:- High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected, and public areas, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Ensuring rubbish bins are maintained and removed when full, contributing to a tidy and organized environment.
- Maintaining high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors, following required policies and procedures.
- Using equipment in accordance with the role, following all Health & Safety guidelines.
- Passionate about patient care, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
- Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
- Confident working in a hospital environment, aware of the potential for contact with patients who may be unwell or showing signs of distress.
- A willingness to learn and take pride in your work, with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleaning services.
- Subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service check, costs met by the employer.
