About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Community Outreach and Education Manager and contribute to the development and delivery of community outreach and education programmes in partnership with Ulster University.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community outreach and education, with experience of working with young people in areas of deprivation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver community outreach and education programmes that meet the needs of local communities.
  • Work closely with Ulster University's Widening Access Team to identify opportunities for collaboration and programme development.
  • Provide leadership and management to staff, ensuring they continue to deliver high standards of care, supervision, safeguarding, and service.
  • Maintain accurate records of programme activities, outcomes, and evaluation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in community outreach and education, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering successful community outreach and education programmes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field, such as youth work, education, or social sciences.
Salary and Benefits
  • A competitive salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
