Mental Health Assistant Professional

Gray Healthcare is a specialist healthcare provider dedicated to supporting individuals with complex needs, disabilities, and long-term conditions. We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Assistant Professional to join our team and support a lady living independently in her own home.

About the Role:

  • Implementing individualized care plans to promote the lady's physical and emotional well-being.
  • Supporting the lady to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including managing medications and adhering to treatment plans.
  • Encouraging the lady to engage in activities that promote social interaction and community participation.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as mental health nursing or social work.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in mental health support roles, preferably with individuals with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including mixed shifts of days and waking nights.
  • Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references required.
