Are you a dedicated and skilled Religious Education teacher looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Chertsey.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire students to develop a love for Religious Education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging Religious Education lessons to students of varying abilities (Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5)
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to promote student engagement and achievement
  • Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential
  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement effective strategies for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver a curriculum that meets national standards and the school's objectives
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a positive learning community
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Degree in Religious Education or a related field
  • Proven experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level, preferably within a mainstream school
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • UK national curriculum and assessment frameworks knowledge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
