Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for implementing the sales strategy to fulfill customer requirements and grow Renishaw presence in their region. They will interact with the Technical Team constantly throughout the sales process to understand and respond to customer needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets for the Industrial Metrology Division
  • Develop business through channel partners
  • Advising on process control and implementing key projects with customers to achieve sales and growth targets
  • Deliver technical sales presentations to all levels of staff
  • Identify and exploit new business opportunities and provide commercial and technical solutions to customers' needs
  • Maintain a qualified enquiry pipeline report in CRM to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Participate in sales meetings, exhibitions, and trade events around the country and the assigned sales area
  • Travel to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness
  • Utilize outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings
  • Develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in solution sales with proven knowledge across all elements of the sales process
  • Experienced with engineering products in B2B markets (ideally industrial metrology, automation, aeronautics, electronics, or related)
  • Strong commercial acumen and project management skills
  • Full, valid passport and driving license enabling regular travel
  • IT experience (ERP- MS Office)
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time (exhibitions and eventual key accounts)
  • Proficient level of Dutch and English. French would be valuable
