Job Description

Mission

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for assigned customers in their region. They implement sales strategies to meet customer requirements and grow Renishaw's presence. They interact with the Technical Team to understand and respond to customer needs through strong economical and technical value propositions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets for the Industrial Metrology Division.
  • Develop business through channel partners.
  • Advise on process control and implement key projects with customers to achieve sales and growth targets.
  • Deliver technical sales presentations to all levels of staff.
  • Identify and exploit new business opportunities and provide commercial and technical solutions to customers' needs.
  • Maintain a qualified enquiry pipeline report in CRM to meet revenue targets.
  • Participate in sales meetings, exhibitions, and trade events around the country and assigned area.
  • Travel to customers within the assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
  • Utilise outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in solution sales with knowledge across the sales process.
  • Experience with engineering products in B2B markets, ideally industrial metrology, automation, aeronautics, electronics, or related.
  • Strong commercial acumen and project management skills.
  • Full, valid passport and driving licence for regular travel.
  • IT experience (ERP- MS Office).
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time (exhibitions and eventual key accounts).
  • Proficient level of Dutch and English, French would be valuable.
