IT Sales Business Development Professional

Established in the East Midlands, our client is an experienced IT Reseller with a strong product and service portfolio. They specialize in the sales of IT Hardware/Software, Virtualisation, Engineering Services, and Helpdesk Support (MSP) arenas.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in IT Sales, residing in the region. A hybrid working arrangement is offered, providing a great balance between work and personal life.
The successful Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and developing existing relationships. This includes identifying and converting prospects into key accounts, as well as managing leads to maximize their potential.
A competitive salary of 25,000 - 30,000, plus uncapped commission plan and benefits package, offers a realistic earning potential of 60K + OTE in the first year.

- Track and record sales metrics throughout the sales process.
- Meet and exceed financial goals through effective sales strategies.
- A solid understanding of the IT industry is essential, with a minimum of one year's experience in IT Sales.
- Generate own sales pipeline through cold calling and lead generation, utilizing strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Consult with clients over the phone, building rapport and relationships to drive business growth.
- Participate in vendor-led training courses and accreditation programs.
- Attend local networking events and engage in canvassing campaigns as required.
- Produce high-quality sales quotations and proposals.
