About the Opportunity

This exciting position offers an excellent chance to join our Ophthalmology Patient Services Team based in Rochdale, providing high-quality administrative support to patients and colleagues across the patient pathway.

You will be the first point of contact for patient enquiries, handling them via telephone or email. With experience in accurate electronic record keeping and complaint resolution, you will work collaboratively with clinical and patient services staff to deliver exceptional service standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to patients and colleagues
  • Manage referrals, appointments, and patient data
  • Respond to patient queries and complaints
  • Collaborate with clinical and patient services staff to achieve excellent service standards

Key Requirements:

  • Previous administration experience in a similar setting
  • A genuine desire to provide exceptional patient care
  • Strong knowledge of IT and software packages (e.g., Word, Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
