The role of a group facilitator at Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SoBS) is to support others who have been bereaved by suicide. This position requires someone who is passionate about helping others through their grief journey.

About the Role

This part-time volunteer opportunity involves managing enquiries from survivors in a timely manner, providing information, and submitting information to the national office. You will also provide signposting to other local charities and services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be over 18 years old, passionate about supporting others in your community, and comfortable in supporting conversations and managing group dynamics. Good communication skills – both spoken and written English – are also essential.
