Genetic Counsellor Band 7 Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Genetic Counsellor to join our team in the East Anglian Clinical Genetics Service. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of Genetic Counsellors to provide a high-quality genetic counselling service to families affected by genetic disorders.
The post will involve a broad caseload of cancer, general, and prenatal genetics, and will provide opportunities for professional development and collaboration with other specialties. We are based at Addenbrooke's Hospital on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, which offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities- To provide genetic counselling to families affected by genetic disorders, including cancer, general, and prenatal genetics.
- To develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients.

Person Specification- Current GCRB registration as a Genetic Counsellor or Current HCPC registration as a Genomic Counsellor.
