Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Health Records Department as a Digital Transformation Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is driving transformational change in healthcare through the implementation of clinical models of service and organisational integration.

The successful candidate will independently manage one or more work packages as part of the Digitalisation Of Medical Records project, working closely with multi-disciplinary staff across diverse professions to deliver business changes enabled through technology.

This role requires strong project management skills, including the ability to research, assess and prioritise stakeholder requirements, develop business cases for projects, and implement IT systems within healthcare.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in process design and workflow management, Microsoft Office products, and have developed practical facilitation skills. They will also have a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of systems of health and social care and the constituent elements of the care system.

Key Responsibilities
  • To independently manage one or more work packages as part of the Digitalisation Of Medical Records project
  • To work closely with multi-disciplinary staff across diverse professions to deliver business changes enabled through technology
  • To develop and lead teams to achieve project objectives
  • To implement IT systems within healthcare and ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements
Requirements

Candidates should have:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge
  • Evidence of continuous personal development
  • Experience of working with formal project management methodologies and tools, stakeholder management, risk and issue management, and benefits management methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing IT systems within healthcare and information governance and security guidance
  • Ability to clearly communicate and reinforce to team members and stakeholders the vision, values and objectives of a project

We offer a competitive salary of £31,000 - £37,500 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including relocation assistance for successful applicants moving to the region.
