Job Title: Volunteer Support Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Volunteer Support Department as a Volunteer Support Officer. This role will provide vital support to our volunteers, ensuring they have a positive experience with our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the adult volunteer application process, ensuring accurate and timely updates to personnel records.
  • Review and approve applications for the Cadet Forces Medal.
  • Respond to volunteer enquiries via email, phone, and post, providing warm and friendly assistance.
  • Administer personnel forms associated with volunteer progression.
Requirements:
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet skills.
  • Experience in a customer-focused role, handling a wide range of enquiries and challenging situations.
  • Experience with data protection procedures.
Desirable:
  • Experience with database inputting and records maintenance.
  • Experience with setting up and using Mail Merge.
