About the Role

We are seeking a Governance Framework Specialist to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a new governance framework for the football industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement governance policies and procedures, following guidance and best practice to support the specific needs of the Regulator's governance framework.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure issues are brought to the Board, Committees and other governance fora at the right time to support effective decision making.
  • Proactively identify gaps and weaknesses in existing activity and implement suitable solutions.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to deliver a high standard of service.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate would have the following key skills and experience:

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with experience of using these skills to effectively engage with, and influence, colleagues and senior stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
  • An understanding of what good corporate governance looks like and how to implement the most suitable processes to deliver this for the Regulator.
  • A strong track record of managing a broad cross-cutting brief, in a fast-moving environment, and with the ability to respond to emerging priorities and prioritise your tasks effectively.

Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a salary of £33,095 per annum, plus benefits such as flexible working arrangements, 26.5 days annual leave on entry, increasing to 31.5 days after 5 years' service, and a Civil Service pension with an employer contribution of 28.97%.

Location

This role will be based in Manchester, which is where the Regulator will be based - an exact location has yet to be determined.
