Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Governance Specialist to lead the transformation of governance, risk, and compliance practices across our organisation. This is a strategic leadership role tasked with unifying risk management approaches across departments, breaking down silos, and driving consistent implementation of governance frameworks.

This role is based in Manchester, requiring attendance Monday to Friday. As a Senior Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide risk management framework, partnering with leadership to align risk appetite and tolerance with business strategy, managing the enterprise risk register, and delivering insights on risk trends, governance maturity, and strategic initiatives to the CISO and executive team.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in enterprise risk management and governance, ideally in a global or complex organisational environment. You should possess expertise in regulatory and compliance frameworks, including GDPR and NIS. A strategic mindset with the ability to unify and align disparate risk and governance practices across departments is essential.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
