Job Summary
Hays Social Care is seeking an experienced Adults with Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team. As a valued member of our team, you will provide person-centered support to adults with learning disabilities, promoting independence, choice, and control.
About the Role
This rewarding role involves supporting individuals with their daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management. You will also encourage social interaction, community involvement, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to adults with learning disabilities
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
- Encourage social interaction and community involvement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes
Requirements
- Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driving license (essential)
