We are seeking experienced Learning Disability Support Workers to work within an award-winning service located in Swansea. The service is a bespoke specialist service for people with spectrum conditions & associated complex needs. You will be assisting individuals through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible.

**PLEASE NOTE: PBM or TEAM TEACH are ESSENTIAL for this role**

**The role**:
What you’ll be doing as a Learning Disability Support Worker

You will provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs which include observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of their conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty. You will be helping with their Progression through a care pathway to live as independently as possible. You will have the full support of a team of multi-disciplinary professionals.

What you’ll need to be successful as a Learning Disability Support Worker
- A desire to create positive outcomes for young people with Learning disabilities **-Driver with access to own vehicle is essential**
- Empathetic, caring and resilient nature
- At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting -Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one -The right to work in the UK

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 20-32 per week

**Salary**: From £12.21 per hour

- 12 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Swansea, Swansea: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Home care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
