Job Title: Care and Housing Advocate

About the Job

We are searching for a passionate and skilled Care and Housing Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting customers in their homes, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Support new customers in settling into their homes and becoming familiar with local services.
  2. Offer assistance and guidance to customers in emergency situations, working within a structured rotation.
  3. Visit customers in their homes, helping them understand available services and resources.
  4. Regularly communicate with customers to tailor support to their unique needs and preferences.
  5. Conduct thorough risk assessments for customers and properties, referring necessary cases to safeguarding authorities when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive) and Teams.
  • Comfortable using digital tools, mobile devices, and tablets.
  • Able to work independently, managing tasks effectively.
  • Valid UK driving license and DBS clearance.
