Job Description:

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the country's logistics activities, ensuring timely and effective support to project implementation.

The Logistics Manager will oversee the correct implementation of International Medical Corps standard systems and procedures for management of warehouse, transport, fleet, asset, and GIK reporting. They will also design, deploy, and implement Logistics information management and reporting systems in line with organizational standards.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Humanitarian Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, and at least 7 years of relevant experience working in humanitarian logistics. They should also have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to create and maintain effective team spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage country logistics activities, including warehousing, transportation, and asset management.
  • Oversee the implementation of International Medical Corps standard systems and procedures.
  • Design, deploy, and implement Logistics information management and reporting systems.
  • Collect and analyze productivity and quality evaluation indicators.
  • Participate in projects planning, design, and budgeting.
  • Support the coordination of cargo transport and equipment management.
  • Ensure compliance with donors' rules and regulations applicable to Logistics.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Humanitarian Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience working in humanitarian logistics.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret business contracts, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Prior knowledge and understanding of donors' rules and regulations applicable to Logistics.
  • Valid driving license (preferred).
