About the Role

The Video Sales Specialist is a key contributor to the success of Amazon's video advertising solutions, spanning across Prime Video, Freevee, and Live Sport, Twitch, OLV, and APD. As a crucial member of the Global Video Advertising Team (GVA), this role is responsible for delivering video revenue targets by supporting vertical sales teams in promoting Amazon's video products to customers, driving product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide scalable insights, case studies, and strategic pitches tailored to the unique needs of the UK market.
  • Collaborate with the GTM team to fine-tune go-to-market strategies, accelerating product adoption and establishing Amazon as a video thought-leader and centre of excellence.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders, including GTM, Large Customer Sales, Product, and Finance, to enable the closing of business with high-value customers against specific accounts.
  • Represent Amazon at industry events, showcasing Amazon Ads Video as a key ambassador.

Amazon Ads helps brands design ad experiences that delight customers and deliver meaningful results. With first-party insights, 300+ million worldwide active customer accounts, Amazon properties, and third-party publishers and exchanges, brands can reach the right audiences in the right places, both on and off Amazon.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Streaming TV sales and/or business development.
  • Experience managing internal and external relationships with senior stakeholders, including Sales, Account Management, and Product groups.
  • Experience building and deploying GTM strategies, with an emphasis on packaging, positioning, and messaging.
  • Demonstrated ability to close sales and generate revenue, with a focus on delivering long-term customer-driven outcomes.
  • Manage customer objection handling and suggest alternative solutions as necessary to maximize the partnership opportunity.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), including the ability to present complex topics both in person, over the phone, and through concise document writing.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working in a product-facing role or working directly with product teams.
  • Develop product and sales strategies that uniquely position products in the market.
  • Experience selling nascent products and/or services.
  • Experience dealing with results, metrics, and data management and a desire to create and build new processes.
  • Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners.
  • Experience in generating and delivering big ideas that deliver new ad revenue streams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive simpler and scaled workflows for internal teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously while defining and delivering priorities amidst ambiguity.
