Academics Ltd is a highly regarded specialist school that provides support to students with Autism and other learning difficulties.

The Mental Health Support Assistant will play a vital role in supporting learners while incorporating therapy and their curriculum. This includes providing general classroom support to the class teacher, helping manage general classroom behaviour, assisting with lesson preparation, keeping the class tidy, and listening to students read and practice phonics.

A calm and compassionate individual who can take initiative well and adapt their approach to match the needs of the children is required. Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential, as confidence and a bubbly personality are key qualities for this role.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with vulnerable children, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals working towards a career in psychology, education, or related fields.
