Grant Writer Role Overview

The Educational Equality Institute is seeking a skilled Grant Writer to join our team on a volunteer basis. As a Grant Writer, you will be responsible for researching and writing grant proposals to secure funding for our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities.
  • Develop high-quality grant proposals that align with our organization's mission and strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with funder guidelines and reporting requirements.
  • Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including tracking application deadlines and submitting proposals.

Requirements

  • Experience writing successful grant proposals for NGOs.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members and program staff.
