Grant Writer Intern Opportunity at Join Momentum

We are excited to announce an unpaid internship opportunity at Join Momentum, as part of our flagship Global Digital Internship Program. This unique program offers a comprehensive digital work experience and coaching, designed to propel your career forward.

About the Role

This is a 6-month unpaid internship role, where you will work closely with our team to develop high-quality grant proposals and supporting documents for submission to funding bodies. You will be responsible for researching and identifying potential grant opportunities aligned with the organization's goals.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Develop high-quality grant proposals and supporting documents for submission to funding bodies.
  • Work closely with internal teams to gather necessary project information, including budgets, timelines, and program descriptions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of grant deadlines, submissions, and outcomes.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the requirements of awarded grants.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential funders and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the finance and program teams to ensure accurate and realistic budgeting in proposals.
  • Keep up to date with trends in the nonprofit funding landscape.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of successful grant applications to federal, state, and private funders.
  • Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Ability to understand complex program requirements and effectively translate them into compelling proposals.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and grant management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
