We are currently seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Business Development Manager to join our expanding team in Manchester. This key role will play a vital part in collaborating with internal stakeholders and teams across the business to drive success. Key responsibilities include:

Salary & Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary between £60,000-£70,000 (dependent on experience) and an annual company bonus. You will also enjoy a 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to split your time between our Manchester office and remote work. Other benefits include:

Job Description:
As a Strategic Financial Business Development Manager, you will act as a commercial business partner to the International Payments team, supporting financial planning and decision-making. Your key responsibilities will be to:
  • Evaluate revenue and profitability forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to formulate financial business plans
  • Develop informative commercial analysis and insights to support business decisions
  • Provide investment appraisal support, including account profitability analysis
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to analyze complex business data

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or global equivalent) with PQE experience in day-to-day financial planning and analysis
  • Recent experience working in the Planning function within financial services industries preferred
  • Solid commercial acumen, including pricing and business case development
  • Experience developing and maintaining financial planning and reporting models
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers
  • Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs
