Assistant General Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Isisekelo Recruitment. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Monitor and control the implementation of back-of-house (BOH) and front-of-house (FOH) procedures to maintain high standards of service and quality.
  • Opening and Closing Procedures: Conduct and manage opening and closing procedures for both BOH and FOH, ensuring a seamless transition between shifts.
  • Brand Audit: Conduct regular brand audits with the store management team, as directed by Home Office, to ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Financial Management: Ensure accurate financial systems, POS, and brand processes are followed according to standard operating procedures.
  • Profit and Loss Statements: Analyze and manage profit and loss statements to optimize restaurant performance.
  • Stock Management: Oversee stock management, including inventory control and ordering.
  • Rota Management: Manage rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience working in the restaurant industry, with at least 3 years in a leading role.
