Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to older adults with dementia and other mental health conditions. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with service users, their families, and carers to deliver person-centred care and support.

Main Duties
  • Provide emotional support and care to service users with dementia and other mental health conditions
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Visit service users in their homes or community locations to provide support and education
  • Collaborate with care home staff to improve care and support for residents with dementia
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs A-C including English and Maths
  • Clinical experience of working with adults with mental health problems in a health or social care setting
  • Ability to form appropriate and respectful working relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Ability to respond positively to people who are distressed or who behave in a challenging manner
  • Basic knowledge of systemic understandings of mental health difficulties
  • Ability to work in a team and engage in discussions to solve interpersonal issues
