About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our dynamic team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing anaesthetic care to patients undergoing surgery
- Developing and implementing anaesthetic plans
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Full GMC Registration
- A license to practice
- Eligibility for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register
- Higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry
- CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) or equivalent
