Job Summary

We are seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist to join our dynamic team at Borders General Hospital in South East Scotland. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing anaesthetic care to patients in a variety of settings, including theatres and critical care units
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Participating in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Contributing to the education and training of junior staff members

Requirements

  • FRCA or equivalent higher qualification
  • Full registration and licensure to practice on the Specialist Register with the General Council
  • Recent experience in Critical Care, Emergency Care, and Obstetrics

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary scale of £96,963 - £128,841 per annum
  • An on-call supplement
  • A relocation package, up to full Inland Revenue limits
