The successful candidate will use and develop their clinical expertise, working with a cohort of patients as part of a multidisciplinary practice team. This will include ensuring quality and cost-effective prescribing within GP practices to meet NHS Ayrshire & Arran's efficiency savings.
The ideal candidate will have a Master of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent, be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain, and have evidence of continuing professional development. They will also require clinical expertise, good communication, organizational, and IT skills, as well as the ability to work with patients and other healthcare professionals.
The role is a fixed-term/secondment for until June 2025. A car license/car ownership is essential for this role.
