FAFS Fire & Security, a leading provider of fire protection and security solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fire detection and alarm systems in the London region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Identify and rectify faults and defects in fire detection and alarm systems.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in fire protection and security.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Full understanding of BS5839 Part 1 and other relevant industry standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fire alarm systems and their components.
- Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA) and manufacturers' training in fire detection and alarm systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
