About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Health Records Department as a Health Records Administrative Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative support to our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide reception cover in multiple outpatient areas, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for patients and visitors.
  • Prepare clinics accurately and in a timely manner, utilizing your organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Answer telephone enquiries and respond to patient queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • File case note folders and maintain accurate records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, including in-house information systems.
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent experience, with a strong focus on administrative processes and general office skills.
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably within the NHS, with a good understanding of health records and patient confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a desire to develop your skills and knowledge in this area.
