Education Mental Health Practitioner Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Education Mental Health Practitioner Supervisor to join our team at East Berkshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Teams, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people in schools.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Education Mental Health Practitioners, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver effective interventions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based mental health programs for children and young people, working closely with schools and other stakeholders.
- Conduct assessments and provide individualized care packages for children and young people with emotional health and wellbeing difficulties.
- Collaborate with schools and other agencies to promote whole-school approaches to emotional health and wellbeing.
- Provide training and support to schools staff, parents, and carers on mental health and wellbeing.
- Qualified in EMHP Post Graduate Dip/Cert as defined by the BABCP, BPS etc.
- Experience of working in CYP mental health services, with a strong understanding of the theory and practice of specialized psychological therapies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and adults.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
