About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Mental Health Practitioner and Supervisor to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people in East Berkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical assessments and formulations for young people up to the age of 18 years, presenting with mild to moderate mental health problems.
- Provide short-term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions (individual, group, family, as appropriate).
- Offer training and consultation to external agencies with regards to the mental health presentation of children and young people who are accessing the Getting Help Team.
- Ensure liaison and joint working between the Getting Help / MHST and the locality Early Help Hub and specialist CAMHS services.
- Use of routine outcome measures to promote active participation from young people and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Training to professionals.
- Supervision, as appropriate to role.
