About the Service Manager Position
We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to lead our Sexual Health Hub, ensuring the delivery of accessible, confidential, and high-quality services that address the diverse needs of the community. This role involves working closely with the senior team, General Manager, and Clinical Lead to effectively manage budgets, uphold safety standards, and meet contractual and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and professional development for staff, overseeing resource and budget management, and ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards. You will also focus on quality improvement by monitoring service outcomes and implementing evidence-based practices. Additionally, you will advocate for sexual health within the community, engage in outreach and education, foster local partnerships, and participate in strategic planning to enhance and expand services.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, experience managing KPIs, writing complex reports, and analysing data for diverse audiences. They will also have demonstrated financial and budget management expertise, as well as relevant management qualification or equivalent experience. Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to motivate teams and support cross-team collaboration. The successful applicant must hold a current UK driving license and have access to a car on a daily basis for transportation to clinic bases, meetings, events both locally and nationally.
