We are currently recruiting for a lovely SEN school in the Brent area, seeking an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant to join their amazing team. The successful candidate will be required to support children with special needs on various levels of the autistic spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Supporting pupils with complex needs and developing strategies to enhance their learning experiences;">
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to regular updates on pupil progress;">
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure inclusive practice and tailored support plans;">
  • Providing additional help and resources to meet individual student requirements;">
  • Demonstrating empathy and understanding when dealing with sensitive issues and maintaining confidentiality when necessary.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with young people or SEN in any capacity;">
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process a new one;">
  • Either living in Brent or within a commutable distance;">
  • Demonstrate fluent English, both verbal and written;">
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.">
