Highways Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, a leading Highway Term Maintenance provider in the UK, is seeking a skilled Highway Term Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the senior supervisor or contract manager in reviewing workloads, allocating resources, and conducting site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the senior supervisor or contract manager in reviewing workloads and allocating resources.
- Conduct site visits to ensure works are implemented safely and efficiently.
- Assist the quantity surveyor in estimating schemes when required.
- Write Health and Safety plans, method statements, risk assessments, and site packs to ensure all works have the necessary documentation.
- Ensure works are fully permitted before implementation.
- Write site-specific programmes and update them as required.
- Raise technical queries and ensure their resolution, sharing relevant information with the commercial team.
- Ensure the smooth running of works through regular liaison with the client, employees, and subcontractors.
- Order plant and materials to support the smooth running of the works programme.
- Maintain the highest level of health and safety and ensure the highest levels of quality and workmanship are maintained.
