Supervisor - Highways Maintenance

We are seeking an experienced Highways Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Marlborough Highways. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of highway maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities- Site Management: Supervise and coordinate teams of directly employed and subcontracted labor to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of highway maintenance services.
- Risk Management: Prepare and implement risk assessments and method statements to mitigate potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contract Management: Manage and liaise with subcontractors as necessary to ensure the delivery of high-quality services in accordance with contract requirements.
- Health and Safety: Conduct regular health and safety inspections and ensure that all employees and contractors are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures.
- Operational Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of operational plans to ensure the efficient delivery of highway maintenance services.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports as required to ensure that management is informed of operational activities and performance.
- Experience: Prior supervisory experience in a highways maintenance or related environment.
- Knowledge: Understanding of highways maintenance contracts and health and safety regulations.
- Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams to achieve operational objectives.
