Human Resources Specialist

Description:
We are seeking a part-time HR Advisor to join our team at Signature Rail Limited. As an HR Advisor, you will provide support to line managers in all matters relating to HR, including terms and conditions, absence, performance, employee relations, and flexible working requests.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements with clear audit trails.
- Offer advice on investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings within policy.
- Support with recruitment needs and work with the talent partner.
- Maintain all benefit policies for the business unit, including adding new starters, lapsing leavers, and managing renewal processes.
- Communicate policies and assist with any queries.
- Manage the talent management programme for your business unit.
- Support the development of staff, manage training plans, and liaise with training providers.
- Provide quarterly HR reports on recruitment, retention, and key trends within the business.
- Support project work as determined by the HR Manager and Business Unit Lead.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a HR Specialist/Advisor role.
- Experience using Workday or similar HRIS.
- Essential working knowledge of employment legislation and HR procedures and policies.
- Ability to contribute to large projects with changing priorities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team building skills.
