About the Role:
As a Peer Support Specialist with Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, you will be working closely with our Health and Wellbeing College team to provide specialist support and guidance to participants. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives, promoting their mental wellbeing and helping them develop the skills they need to manage their conditions effectively.

Your main responsibilities will include delivering learning support and guidance, organizing course materials, and operating IT equipment as required. You will also be responsible for documenting participants' involvement with the Health and Wellbeing College using clinical systems. Additionally, you will participate in supervision and reflect on your own practice, making changes as needed, and collaborate with senior colleagues to improve services.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about mental health and wellbeing, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to build strong relationships with colleagues, participants, and external stakeholders, and possess a deep understanding of trauma-informed care. Our ideal candidate will have a flexible approach, prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines, and be committed to professional development and growth within the organization. The estimated annual salary for this role is £34,500 - £46,000.
