Job Title: Compliance and Health and Safety Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Health and Safety Manager to lead and implement HSE culture changes on our Defence contract covering the South of England. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reporting to the Head of HSEQ and maintaining a dotted reporting line into the Project Director.
  2. Supporting the management in HSE policy and guidelines across the contract.
  3. Directly managing a team of HSEQ Advisors in their day-to-day activity, providing HSE leadership, training, and operational support.
  4. Governance of legal compliance and delivering the internal audit programme.
  5. Driving a consistent approach to HSEQ and collaborating with Operations Performance teams and central functions.

Requirements:

  1. Proven Health and Safety expertise.
  2. Background in construction or facilities management.
  3. Proven knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality processes and legislation.
  4. NEBOSH or Level 6 equivalent.
