Job Title: Fire Safety Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Specialist to join our team at Hydro-X Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our facilities and employees by carrying out inspections, installing access doors, and maintaining fire safety equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out inspections of fire dampers in accordance with BS9999
  • Install access doors into ventilation systems in accordance with DW144
  • Maintain and repair passive fire stopping systems
  • Conduct regular inspections of physical plant as instructed
  • Follow a preventative maintenance program as instructed
  • Make recommendations for major repairs to physical plant
  • Recommend the purchase of goods and equipment
  • Maintain personal equipment and materials stock inventories
  • Provide written reports as required
  • Ensure records are maintained

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have proficient knowledge in ventilation systems management, fire damper testing, and access doors installation. They will also possess excellent teamwork, client service, and personal administration skills.

Working Hours:

The hours of work are Monday to Friday with a requirement to work overtime that will include some weekend work.
