Job Title: Senior Technical Support Specialist - Gas Safety Expert

Location: Hybrid

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Permanent)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our client's team in Essex. This is a commercial role that requires a deep understanding of gas safety and sensor technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced escalation support for complex technical issues that go beyond first-line technical assistance.
  • Address and resolve support queries involving hardware, software, firmware, and network connectivity problems.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality and Engineering teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical product issues.
  • Lead discovery discussions with key stakeholders to understand and address concerns related to our client's products.
  • Travel to client sites for in-depth problem analysis and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical support for hardware, software, and firmware.
  • Experience in gas detection technology is highly desirable.
  • A technical degree or diploma is preferred.
  • Fluency in an additional European language is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Experience with APIs is a plus.
