We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team in Banbury, United Kingdom. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting and developing our Critical Control Network (CCN) and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Safety, Health, and Environment: Drive a safety culture and ensure compliance with safety requirements and legislation.
- Quality: Deliver a quality culture and develop the quality competence of all associates.
- Leadership: Support human resource requirements and legislation implementation, and enable training of operators and technicians.
- Delivery and Cost: Accountable for the CCN and systems, including strategy development, manufacturing applications support, and systems contract management.
- Security and Resilience: Ensure the security and resilience of the CCN and systems, including compliance with security standards and procedures.
- Electrical/Technical degree relevant to local education systems or higher.
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment (maintenance/engineering preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to teach, coach, mentor, develop others, and work in a team-based environment.
- Profound knowledge and experience of programming, development, and configuration software.
- Excellent computer system skills covering both servers and workstations.
- Sound knowledge of IT systems, including networks, data transfer, and storage.
