Job Overview

This role is based at St James's University Hospital (SJUH) and involves working in a fast-paced eye clinic environment. You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of a broad range of core optometric services, ensuring the highest standards of quality and care for patients. In addition, you will have the chance to develop skills in enhanced clinics with support and supervision from Specialist Optometrist colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Gain experience and develop skills during a two-year fixed contract, progressing from core optometric activities to more enhanced optometric roles in the acute sector.
  2. Assist in the delivery of a broad range of core optometric services to the highest standards of quality and care for Leeds Teaching Hospitals and its clinics.
  3. Develop skills in enhanced clinics with support and supervision by Specialist Optometrist colleagues.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £30,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
