Are you looking for a challenging role where you can make a real impact on a global leader in the design and manufacturing of innovative buses and coaches? We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Manager to join our Quality Assurance Engineering team.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the components that contribute to our world-class buses and coaches. This involves collaborating with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to establish and maintain stringent quality standards across our supply chain.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  2. Quality Audits: Conduct regular on-site and remote audits of supplier facilities to assess adherence to quality systems and processes.
  3. Quality Control Plans: Develop and implement robust quality control plans in collaboration with suppliers.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Monitor the effectiveness of these plans through data analysis and key performance indicators.
  5. Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities for improvement in supplier quality processes and actively work with suppliers to implement changes.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Qualifications: HND/HNC or degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to read Engineering drawings, awareness of Spray-Painting techniques an advantage but not essential.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
