Quality Manager Job Description

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our client's team in Farnborough, Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) across the company, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer the company's QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
  • Conduct internal audits, site and project quality inspections, and champion quality best practice throughout the business.
  • Analyze complaints and non-conformances from internal and external audits, in collaboration with the Supply Chain Team.
  • Evaluate and analyze suppliers and sub-contractors in accordance with QMS requirements.
  • Manage budgets, drive improvements, and review and report on corrective action and non-conformity reporting for all areas.
  • Work on HSE aspects, including monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace, management and delivery of QHSE induction and training programs, promoting QHSE awareness, creating and reviewing Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments, and undertaking accident investigation and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to BSc (2:1) or a higher degree level in a relevant subject related to engineering or manufacturing.
  • Previous experience in a similar Quality Management role, with a track record of driving continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant certifications, such as NEBOSH, COSHH, NGC, GC3, IOSH, First Aid at Work, Fire Warden, ESD, ISO9001 QMS Internal auditing.

Salary and Benefits:

Circa £50k DOE plus benefits.

Location:

Farnborough area.

Special Requirements:

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet these criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
