Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our client's team in Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer the company's ISO 9001 QMS, ensuring compliance with new legislation and changes to existing legislation.
  • Assess and implement other standards as appropriate, such as ISO 13485, 14001, and 45001.
  • Conduct internal audits, undertake site and project quality inspections, and champion quality best practice throughout the business.
  • Analyze complaints and non-conformances from internal and external audits, in collaboration with the Supply Chain Team.
  • Evaluate and analyze suppliers and sub-contractors in accordance with Quality Management System requirements.
  • Manage budgets, drive improvements, and review and report on corrective action and non-conformity reporting for all areas.
  • Work on HSE aspects, including monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace, management and delivery of QHSE induction and training programs, promoting QHSE awareness, creating and reviewing Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments, and undertaking accident investigation and reporting.

Requirements

  • Qualified to BSc (2:1) or a higher degree level in a relevant subject related to engineering or manufacturing.
  • Previous experience in a similar Quality Management role, with a track record of driving continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant additional certifications, such as NEBOSH, COSHH, NGC, GC3, IOSH, First Aid at Work, Fire Warden, ESD, ISO9001 QMS Internal auditing.
